PRS Proofreading Services recognises and values your text/document(s) submitted for proofreading and copyediting. It is our policy not to disclose any of your content to a third party.
We acknowledge and assume that all material presented for our service(s) is deemed to be your intellectual property notwithstanding that we may have no effective or tangible means by which to verify or confirm any partial or entire degree of plagiarism.
In addition, it is our policy that we will never sell, promote or disclose your email address and/or contact details to another person or any other entity.
PRS Proofreading Services will retain a copy of all completed projects for a period of six months at no cost to you in the event that you should wish to review and/or retrieve your submission.
All manuscripts and/or documents that are
submitted for a copy editing revision, to be followed by a subsequent
proofreading, will be granted a PRS Certificate of Copy Editing
and
Proofreading, upon delivery of the said Amended Manuscript and/or
Document.
Any manuscripts and/or documents that are submitted
for a second revision, as a result of technical and/or scientific
insertions and/or deletion demands, as requested by the
editors and/or
the reviewers and/or the referees of the evaluating publishing house
journal or magazine, as well as those revisions as submitted by the
author(s) themselves, will
be subjected to a further second and revised
copy editing and proofreading of the said revised manuscript and/or
document, in full and in its entirety.
Any 'original' first
Certificate of Copy Editing & Proofreading will be henceforth deemed
to be invalid and null and void as a result of the above said amendments.
Any
'second' or ‘subsequent’ revisions of a manuscript and/or document will be required to be copy edited
and proofread for a second or subsequent time, in full and in its
entirety,
for a second or subsequent valid PRS Certificate of Copy
Editing and Proofreading to be issued by PRS Proofreading Services.
CANCELLATIONS OR DISPUTES:
Any cancellations or disputes of whatsoever nature
regarding the copy editing and/or the proofreading of works, with a
quotation having been previously agreed by the client and with a
notification by him or her having been issued in order to proceed with
the works, shall be subject to a PRS Proofreading Services
administration charge of USD $50.00
(Fifty US Dollars) in order to take care of the client's initial
administration and preparatory works. Any disputes of whatsoever
nature should be addressed to PRS Proofreading Services by contacting
the PRS Proofreading Services Legal Department.
