Wow!  It's been a busy month and we've not had a lot of time to write much news .......... so many other things going on ................Christmas is coming .......Boxing Day is coming .......New Year's Eve is coming .......Presents for Everyone .......Parties nearly every night until the small hours if we can avoid the COVID-19 lockdowns ....Stay safe from the new Covid variants ....and soon it will be 2023 .....phew! We've got some news .....but we'll try to do better for you in January!

WHAT OTHER NEWS?


SPECIAL 2-DAY WRITING SEMINAR

We held a Special 2-Day English Writing Seminar in Samut Prakan, Thailand last month for some great Asean students who are learning about the correct use of spelling, grammar and punctuation, making paragraphs easy to read, and utilising sequencers in texts.

They had a lot of questions about using idioms in their essays and in their reports and they wanted to know the meanings of such things as "flogging a dead horse" and "that takes the biscuit" and "it cost me an arm and a leg".  Do you know all of these?   Let us know ............

They learned a lot and had great fun and nothing was too serious!

They all made excellent progress in only a short space of time!   Look at the picture - all very hard at work!

It was very hot............... especially for us teachers!!

Thank you for the 'Air Conditioning' - that was very welcome!!

No snow..........but 34°C........and very hot!



We're planning on holding some more English Writing Classes really soon - maybe even just after Christmas!   So expect some news soon!

TALKING OF CHRISTMAS

Our proofreaders and copy editors and teachers are all looking forward to Christmas!   Why?

Because it's a big holiday in the English speaking countries and they are all complaining that they need a break!   They've been hard at it over the past few months - so we guess that they deserve a few days holiday!

They will all probably spend too much money, drink too much, not get enough sleep and eat far too much food!   Christmas turkey, Christmas pudding, chocolates, ice cream and lots of mince pies!   Yummy!
